‘A ray from Saturn’ playfully exploring apocalyptic fears tied to milestone years like 2025,
this work is a humorous intervention embracing the absurdity of doomsday predictions.

Through its title I nods to the Janowska Group [Teofil Ociepka], an occult-artistic commune from Poland’s Silesian mining region – an unexpected hotspot for intuitive art.
Like artistic UFOs in a cultural vacuum, they contrasted with their surroundings, much as this work playfully disrupts expectations.
The piece invites you to question the allure of apocalyptic narratives and our fixation on the “end of the world.”
