The gold bar coffin is a memento: represents the death of modern man as a paradox: a certain prize, well-deserved and earned through the years and a kind of senseless investment. Despite human hopes for a good ending, despite the quest to poses everything and to rule over time given to us for living, we are focused on the process of accumulation of goods and loose everything what can not be recovered. Happiness is what we always put for later, feeding ourselves with visions of afterlife. In a sarcastic way the artwork brings the essence of human existence to a process which always generates loss in the end.
